About this packaging

Tuck end boxes for every retail product

Tuck end boxes are one-piece folding cartons. They are light, ship flat and fold up quickly by hand. The flaps tuck in to close the box, and you get six panels to print your brand and product details.

Choose your closure

Pick a straight tuck end box, a reverse tuck end box, or a tuck top with an auto-lock or snap-lock bottom for heavier products. Add a hang tab for peg displays or a window to show the product.

Used across industries

Tuck boxes suit cosmetics, supplements, candles, soaps, electronics accessories and food products on shelves and online.

Which Tuck Box Style Is Right for You?

Straight tuck end box

Best for: Retail products of every size

Both flaps close from the same side, and the box ships flat and folds up quickly by hand.

The top and bottom close from opposite sides, and reverse tuck often uses less board.

Auto-lock bottom

Best for: Heavier products

A tuck top with an auto-lock bottom gives extra support for heavier products.

Snap-lock bottom

Best for: Heavier products

A tuck top with a snap-lock bottom gives extra support for heavier products.

Paper-Based Packaging Options for Tuck Boxes

SBS paperboard and kraft are paper based, so they are a good starting point for tuck boxes. Windows, foil and heavy coatings can change how a local service accepts a box, so check your local rules before you choose those options.

If you have a specific material need, mention it in the quote form and we will tell you what we can do for your tuck box.

Three simple ways to cut waste

  1. Order the right size. A box that fits the product needs less filler.

2. Pick a style that uses less board. Reverse tuck often uses less board, so it can be a good choice where it fits your product.

3. Choose kraft. Kraft is a paper-based material listed for tuck boxes.

Custom Packaging Options for Every Industry

Choose the finish, print method, coating and material that suit your product. Our team will help you pick the right mix for your brand and budget.

Special Finishes

Finishing is what turns a good box into a memorable one. Add metallic hot foil, raised embossing, glossy spot UV or pressed-in debossing to highlight your logo and key details, the small touches that make customers stop, look and pick your product up. Finishes can be combined on the same box, for example gold foil on an embossed logo with a spot UV pattern, and our team will show you what works best for your artwork and budget before anything is printed.

Printing Methods

We match the print method to your quantity, artwork and budget. Offset printing gives sharp, color-accurate results for larger runs, digital printing is ideal for short runs and fast turnaround, screen printing delivers bold solid colors, and UV printing adds vivid, durable ink to almost any surface. We print in full-color CMYK or exact Pantone brand colors, inside and outside the box, and every order comes with a free digital proof so you can check colors and layout first.

Coating & Laminations

Coatings protect your print from scuffs, moisture and fingerprints while setting the look and feel of your box. Choose matte for a soft, modern finish, gloss for vibrant shine, soft-touch for a velvety premium feel, or eco-friendly aqueous coating for everyday protection. A coating also makes colors look richer and helps your boxes stay clean and sharp from the warehouse to the customer’s hands.

Materials / Paper We Use

Every box starts with the right board. Rigid chipboard gives a sturdy luxury feel, kraft paperboard offers a natural and recyclable look, corrugated board protects products through shipping, and SBS cardstock provides a bright, smooth surface for crisp full-color printing. We use recyclable materials wherever possible. Not sure which board is right for your product? Tell us what you are packing and how it ships, and we will recommend the best material for strength, look and price.
