Screen Printing for Custom Packaging

Create bold, solid colors and opaque prints with screen printing, perfect for simple logos on kraft and colored stocks.

What is screen printing?

About Screen Printing

Screen printing pushes thick ink through a fine mesh screen onto the box, one color at a time. The heavy ink layer produces bright, opaque colors that stay vivid even on dark, kraft or textured surfaces.

It is especially effective for one- to three-color logos and designs, such as white ink on kraft or bright colors on black board.

Design tips

  • Keep designs to a few solid colors for the best value.
  • White ink on kraft is a popular, eco-friendly look.
  • Avoid fine gradients, as screen printing suits flat, bold color.
  • Allow slightly thicker lines than you would for offset printing.
