What is soft-touch coating?

About Soft-Touch Coating

Soft-touch is a special matte lamination with a smooth, suede-like texture. It gives packaging a rich, tactile feel and a deep, glare-free appearance that instantly signals quality.

It pairs perfectly with foil stamping, spot UV and embossing, and it is one of the most popular choices for luxury, beauty and premium gift packaging.

Design tips

  • Dark colors with soft-touch look especially rich and premium.
  • Combine with foil or spot UV for a striking luxury finish.
  • Soft-touch works on both folding cartons and rigid boxes.
  • Ask for a sample to feel the texture before you order.
